Online marketing can be daunting. There are so many channels one could be part of, so many different ways of communicating, and on top of that, so many ways on how to monitor, track, and set your right marketing strategy.
To give us some clarity, and sense of direction, we have invited two incredible marketing Ninjas to share with us their know-how:
Lars started his career in 1997 and has been working since then in Marketing (Direct Marketing, Online Marketing, Performance Marketing, Advertising) and General Management. He is experienced in the following industries: E-commerce, Online Dating, Gaming, and Agency Business.
Lars has close to 15 years of experience in internet companies like Parship, Bigpoint or Aeria Games. In October 2016 he joined the international media agency Leverate Media as their VP Performance Marketing. After a short time, he got promoted to Chief Media Officer and became Managing Director of the German entity.
After leaving Leverate in January 2018 he restarted his business as an independent Consultant and Interims Manager. Lars’s specialties are: Leadership, Online & Performance Marketing, Startups, international Teams, Digital Transformation, Business Development. A first-time limited project brought him recently to GoEuro. After a few weeks, the company and him agreed on making it a permanent role.
Lars will share with us the challenges his Marketing team underwent after GoEuro's re-brand to Omio and what one needs to consider when having a new name/brand.
Traditionally we think of social media as being platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. But what about Whatsapp, Trust Pilot, and Reddit? Over the years the definition of "social media" has become quite broad and the platforms nuanced. Companies and brands feel the pressure to be everywhere and in the end it's getting them nowhere.
Together we’ll explore the concept of social media and work to change your perception of it. We’ll explore the current landscape and how to figure out which channels to use to drive maximum value for your business. And we’ll take a look at some not so “traditional” social media channels right under your nose that you may be.
Kelley has 10 years of marketing and social media experience. She has worked across a variety of industries in the US, UK, UAE and now the EU. From automotive to entertainment, fine art, consumer goods, and most recently tech— Kelley has built the brands of and strategized for many products.
As a former entrepreneur, Kelley is enthusiastic about startups and helping founders. She has mentored at The Family and Techstars. Most recently she lead the social media for N26, a fintech unicorn in Berlin, where she was responsible for defining and implementing the global social media strategy in five languages across 20 channels.
