Tech Days 2020 - Main Event
As home to innovative start-ups, globally successful corporations and first-class research, Munich is probably the most exciting location for digital innovation and technological progress in Europe. On June 7 and 8, 2020, the Tech Days Munich of the Center Digitization.Bavaria and Security Network Munich will bring together the whole ecosystem. The event will take place at Muffatwerk Munich, main event and exhibition day is June 8.
This year's thematic focus is on Clean Tech; this includes all innovative technologies and products that aim to reduce the consumption of natural resources and can thus make an important contribution to environmentally friendly and sustainable businesses. In addition, as every year, cybersecurity and innovation management are on the agenda as well.
The program includes panels, tech talks and workshops. Moreover, there is an exhibitor area for start-ups and a demo zone where product innovations are presented.
For the first time, the "Tech Days Startup Challenge" will be part of the conference. Young companies from the clean tech sector are invited to participate. Eight startups will have the opportunity to present themselves to the jury and the audience in a five-minute pitch. After the pitch, the start-ups will have to face the critical questions of the expert jury. The winning company will be selected by public vote and can look forward to the "Clean Tech Startup Award - supported by gate-Garching". The award ceremony will take place that same afternoon on the main Tech Days stage in Ampere. In addition to the Tech Days Startup Challenge for companies from the Clean Tech sector, startups from other industries also have the opportunity to participate in the exhibition in the Muffathalle. As every year, artists will accompany the event musically and video mappers will put the Muffatwerk in the right light. Additional art performances are planned.
